Leather - Colliouresun
April 2009
Everybody calls me Leather because I got my feelings hurt on another thread & one of the neat women there told me I needed to ‘get some leather on you girl,’ i.e. toughen up.
I got serious with WW in January 2008 and went from 140 to 114, losing about a pound or less a week following the ‘rules’ Melissa and I have listed here on this thread. I am now constantly working to get back to 117-119 and stay there. My highest was 155 in 2001, I am 5’4”.
I’m 63 yrs old, married to the sweetest, sexiest man in the world, who was a good friend of me and my first husband. I’ve known DSH (dear second husband) for over 37 yrs. We got married in 2003 after a one year whirlwind romance! He’s a retired attorney and just cute as a bug. We have one cat Lilly who we adopted from an Alzheimers lady who could no longer care for her. Our beloved constant companion Buddy cat died December 2008. I still miss him so much.
I paint realism in oils, try to get my orchids to bloom in my greenhouse, and try to be the helpful boss of everyone! The website of my art which is so very important to me is susanbonnell.com. Before retiring I was a ‘famous’ sexual harassment expert, published books, etc for 25 yrs. and was on Oprah, Larry King, Good Morning America…all the shows. It was fun and rewarding, but a nasty business. Google Susan L. Webb to see previous career. LOL
Thanks for everything you all give me. My sweet little chickens. I do love you, you know that! More than you can imagine!

Close to My Heart...Collioure, France
Collioure is the little village we spend Septembers in almost every year. Google it! Magic...8,000 people... no Americans but us. No one speaks English. Living in a tiny village for six weeks...five topless beaches if you so desire, which I do!...swim in Mediterranean every day...tons of wine, cheese, fresh veggies from twice weekly market.
We rent the same apartment yearly with rooftop balcony overlooking the sea....every year except two of the last six or seven...
Anyway...Collioure is where Matisse painted at the turn of the century, and Matisse's wife was named "Amelie". Thus Amelie Collioure...and believe it or not "Collioure" was taken, so I had to use "Colliouresun".
It's fifteen miles from the border of Spain and France on the sea, in Catalan territory, i.e. mix of French Spanish...a French dialect even the French have a hard time understanding. DH speaks enough to get us by. Full of art studios and artists.
I love it more than anything. We went from August 22nd to October 3 of 2010 was our last visit.
