Sherryknotts - Sherry
March 2010
My name is Sherry and I am 35 years old. I have been happily married to my husband, Lance, for 15 years and have 3 wonderful daugthers Katelyn (13), Emily (8), and Miley (4). I am an Optometrist in WV and run my own private practice. I graduated from West Virginia University with a BA in Biology in 1997 and The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2001.
My Husband and I own a 135 acre farm and have all kinds of furry animals but mainly 60 cows, a yorkie, and a Chocolate Lab. I enjoy long walks, short runs, reading, gardening, and watching my 3 girls play soccer. I even dabble in coaching them every once in a while.
I started my WW journey in 2002 after the birth of my 2nd daughter. I made goal in Jan 2003 loosing from 165 down to 120. After the birth of my 3rd baby, I developed diabetes and have struggled with my weight loss. I have been on and off WW since 2006 loosing the same 5 pounds over and over again. I am currently 5"1' and weigh 149. My goal is to get back to 120.
I found the board in March (thanks for inviting me Holly) and have picked up some wonderful ideas. Still having trouble implementing them and I struggle with the planning everyday. But I am trying and I hoping it shows. My goal for 2011 is to take it one day at a time and make good choices one meal at a time.
